- TFI wins Indefinite Quantity electrical and cable infrastructure contract with General Services Administration (GSA) for various locations throughout the National Capital Region (Washington, DC).

March 2008

- In an effort to bolster its electrical division, TFI has added several new electrical technicians including two Master Electricians. This effort is being done to improve our presence at the Maryland area Army Bases and Aberdeen Proving Grounds in support of the BRAC initiative.

February 2008

- TFI wins Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract with Forts Myers and McNair. This contract is for facilities maintenance and infrastructure installation.

January 2008

- TFI Chief Communications Engineer William Hulsether, RCDD and CTTA, recently delivered a presentation at the BICSI 2008 Winter Conference and Convention in Orlando Florida. Prior to joining TechFirst, Mr. Hulsether served in the Army's Technology Applications Office and was instrumental in strategy, design, and specifications of secure infrastructure including cabling, engineering, and secure networks. Bill's presentation discussed technology and advancements in relation to secure infrastructure and cabling in the secure world and intelligence community. More information is to follow...
